Melrose Technician and dog Ted walk 100 miles to raise money for SCAA

A Melrose paramedic completed 100 miles in May alongside her dog, Ted, to raise money for Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA).

Elyse Greig and Ted, Jack Russell cross, ran and walked a variety of routes throughout the month.

She said: “Ted joined me for every mile. I chose to support SCAA as it is funded entirely by the public, and as a frontline paramedic I know how much support they provide to our road crews.

"Their expertise and speed can make a significant difference to patient outcomes, so it was great to be able to give something back.”

Elyse raised a total of £430 for SCAA.
