Could you share the number of incidents which went to English hospitals for calendar year 2025 and/or 12month period 01/07/2025 to 30/06/2026. 

Response

For the period of 1st July 2025 to 30th June 2026, the Scottish Ambulance Service recorded the following conveyance to the specified hospitals in England: 

 

  • Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle: 287 
  • Newcastle General Hospital, Newcastle: 39 
  • Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle: fewer than 5 
  • Berwick Infirmary, Berwick-upon-Tweed: 0 

 

Where the figure is more than zero but fewer than five, the exact number has been withheld because disclosure could create a risk of individuals being identified. 

 

There were no conveyances to Berwick Infirmary during the specified perio
